Abstract:

Cumhuriyet’in ilanıyla yönünü Batı'ya dönen Türkiye idaresinin elindeki en önemli ve etkin propoganda aracı, edebiyattır. "İnkılâp kanonu" olarak ifade edilen bu olgu; Cumhuriyet rejiminin, özellikle, 1920-1946 yılları arasında geliştirdiği ve sistemli olarak sürdürdüğü bir eğilimdir. Bu "kanonu" oluşturup besleyebilmek için Cumhuriyet devri edebiyatının ilk evresinde yetişen roman yazarlarının büyük fonksiyonu olmuştur. Devlet rejiminin değerleriyle barışık olan bu edebiyatçılar, devletin imkanlarından faydalanırken, devletin istediği ideolojik yaklaşımı eserlerine yansıtmışlardır. Devlet, yeni cumhuriyetin söylemlerini halka yayması ve halkın bu söylemleri içselleştirmesi için Reşat Nuri gibi toplum tarafından sevilerek okunan yazarlarla çalışır. Çünkü edebiyat, yeni rejimin “en etkili silahı” dır. Reşat Nuri’nin “Yeşil Gece” romanı da bu açıdan önemli bir üründür. Bu çalışmada Reşat Nuri’nin "Yeşil Gece" adlı romanının devrin güçlü edebi kanonuna bağlı gelişen angaje edebiyat içerisindeki yerini ifade etmeye çalışacağız.

Abstract:

The most important and effective propaganda tool in the hands of the Turkish administration, which is heading west with the repulic's announcement, is literature. This phenomenon, called the "canon of revolution", was influential between 1920-1946. The great influence of republican writers in the development of this canon. These writers have benefited from the possibilities of the state while doing what the state wants. The state of the country, such as the Reşat Nuri, used for their own purposes. Because literature is the most effective weapon of the new regime. It is also important in "Yeşil Gece". In this work we will try to express the place in the engaged literature which is connected to the circus-strong literary canon of the novel "Yeşil Gece".
