Abstract:

The aim of this study is to introduce the relationship between the elite level tennis players’ conduct of life and their admiration on their bodies. 53 men and 51 women athlethes, who participated in Turkey Championship between Universities in 2016 and accepted to attend in this study voluntarily, form the sample of this study. Life Addiction Scale(Yaşam Bağlılığı Ölçeği), of which validity and reliability has been done by Ugur and Akın in 2015 and Body Admiration Scale(Bedeni Beğenme Ölçeği), of which validty and reliability has been done by Anlı and his friends, have been used as data colletcion tool in this study. PSS 20 Packet Programme has been used for analysing the collected datas. “Kolmogorov-Smirnov” single sample test has been applied to learn whether the datas have a normal distribution or not. “Anova-Homogenety of Variance” Test has been applied to detect the datas homogenity and It has been found out that Datas have normal and homogeneous distribution. Descriptive Statistic and Persoan Correlation Analysis have been applied for analysing the datas. The admiration score of the tennis players detected as 40,9808±7,9158, the conduct of life score detected as 25,9808±4,78667 at the end of the statistic analiysis. At the end of the correlation analysis, It has been detected that there is a positive way correlation between body admiration and conduct of life.
