Abstract:

Bu araştırmanın amacı, ortaokul 7. sınıf öğrencilerinin elektronik sözlüklere yönelik görüşlerini ortaya koymaktır. Araştırma, 17 öğrencinin katılımı ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada nitel araştırma desenlerinden olgubilim deseni kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın verileri, yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu ile toplanmıştır. Görüşme formlarındaki öğrenci cevaplarının analiz edilmesinde içerik analizi kullanılmıştır. Önce veriler kodlanmış, ardından verileri genel düzeyde açıklayan kategoriler belirlenmiştir. Kategorilerin belirlenmesinde de ilgili alanyazın, görüşme soruları ve öğrencilerin sorulara verdikleri cevaplardan yararlanılmıştır. Verilerin analizi sonucu, dört kategori ve bu kategorilere ait kodlar altında elde edilen bulgular sıralanmıştır. Ulaşılan bulgulara göre öğrencilerin birçoğu, elektronik sözlüklerin kullanımının kolay, hızlı ve kelime potansiyelinin daha fazla olduğu; basılı sözlüklerin ise zaman alıcı, kelime potansiyelinin daha az ve bu sözlüklerde kelime aramanın

Abstract:

The objective of this study is to introduce opinions of secondary school 7th class students directed towards electronic dictionaries. Research has been realized with participation of 17 students. Phenomenology pattern among qualitative research patterns is used in this research. Data of the research is collected by semi-structured interview form. Content analysis has been used during analyzing of answers of students in interview forms. First of all data had been coded and consequently categories which interpret data in general level were determined. We had utilized from body of literature, interview questions and answers of students to questions while determining categories. As analysis result of data, four categories and findings received under codes belonging to these categories were lined up. According to received findings, most of the students had the opinion that use of electronic dictionaries was easy, quick and they had a larger word potential when compared to electronic diction
