Özellikle son yıllarda teknolojik gelişmeler ile birlikte sosyal medya kullanımlarının hız kazanması kişilerin kişilik hakları ile ilgili sorunlarını gündeme getirmiştir. Kişilerin kendi istekleri dâhilinde olsa bile özel hayatlarını bu denli paylaşmaları sadece hukuki açıdan değil, sosyolojik açıdan da incelenmeye değer bir mesele olmuştur. Bu çalışmada kişiliğin hukuki açıdan ne ifade ettiğine değinilmiş aynı zamanda kişiliğin kimlere karşı hangi durumlarda korunabileceği ve bu korunmanın sınırlarının ne olduğu üzerinde durulmuştur
Especially in recent years, with technological developments, the speed of social media use has raised the issues related to the personal rights of individuals. Though individuals are within their own desires, sharing their private lives so much has been a matter that is worth examining not only from a legal point of view, but also from a sociological point of view. This study pointed out what the personality represents from a legal point of view and also focused on what circumstances the personality can be protected against and what the limits of this protection are.
Especially in recent years, with the technological developments, the use of social media has accelerated the problems of individuals related to their personal rights. Even if people are willing to share their private lives so much, it is not only a matter of law but also a sociological point of view. In this study, it is mentioned what personality refers to from a legal point of view.
