Abstract:

Turkish teaching is done through text. For this reason, various types of texts are located in Turkish textbooks. However, the Turkish education programs are not given due consideration to the child's biography modeled. Value transfer in and take the child's role model biographies which meet the needs of the target audience of children is a very important tool. The purpose of this research, the value of Mehmet Akif Ersoy biography child is to examine the target audience in terms of education. Mehmet Akif Ersoy was examined using three biographies of document analysis in the study. This biography is the target audience of children. While document analysis have been paying attention to the following values: give importance to family unity, fairness, independence, peace, freedom, science, hard work, solidarity, sensitivity, integrity, aesthetics, tolerance, hospitality, Concern for healthy, respect, love, responsibility, cleanliness patriotism, benevolence, courage, friendship, sacrifice, sharing, protecting cultural heritage, leadership, compassion, value of school life, self-esteem.
