Abstract:

Kıbrıs Eyaleti’nin 18 Mart 1608 - 14 Haziran 1608 tarihli üç aylık bütçesi Başbakanlık Osmanlı Arşivi’nde Tapu Tahrir Defterleri tasnifinde TT kodlu ve 0708 sıra nolu defterin 2-5. sayfalarında bulunmaktadır. Kıbrıs Beylerbeyi Mustafa Paşa ve Kıbrıs Hazine Defterdarı Ali Efendi tarafından hazırlanan bütçe adıgeçen tarihler arasında Kıbrıs Eyaletinin gelir ve giderleri hakkında bilgi vermektedir. Bütçeye göre Kıbrıs Eyaleti’nin gelirleri 4.544.320 akçedir. Bu gelirden yapılan harcamalar ise 2.016.092 akçe olup geriye 2.473.146 akçe bakiye kalmıştır. Yani bütçe fazlalık vermiştir. Bu fazlalığın 2.302.316 akçesinin İstanbul’a gönderildiği, geri kalan 170.830 akçenin ise Kıbrıs Eyaleti’nde görev yapan değişik askeri görevlilerin maaşlarına mahsup edildiği defterdar tarafından merkeze bildirilmiştir.
