Abstract:

Environmental problems have become one of the most important problems of our time as a result of globalization. These issues discussed at national and international level are waiting for solutions that affect all humanity. The view of the different disciplines of science on the subject has given the nature of interdisciplinary. The objective of this illustrative study, carried out by a qualifying method, is to reveal the state of environmental education in Turkey through its general lines, starting from global and local environmental issues. In this context, information on environmental definition and national and global environmental issues will be transferred first. It will then be viewed from the morality of Islam to the environment. A set of solutions proposals will be presented by assessing in the context of environmental education, educational programs and academic studies, which are the main subject of the text.
