Araştırmanın amacı öğretmen adaylarının öğretmenlik mesleğine yönelik tutumlarının incelenmesidir. Araştırma 2015-2016 akademik yılında Bartın Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesinde Sınıf Eğitimi, Sosyal Bilgiler Eğitimi ve Matematik Eğitimi anabilim dallarının 4. sınıfında öğrenim gören 86 öğretmen adayı üzerinde yapılmıştır. Araştırma tarama modelindedir. Verilerin toplanmasında 34 maddeden oluşan 5’li likert tipi ölçme aracı kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin analizinde istatistiksel işlemlerden frekans, yüzde, bağımsız gruplar t-testi ve tek yönlü varyans analizi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda öğretmen adaylarının mesleğe yönelik tutumları ile cinsiyet değişkeni arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık olmadığı görülmüştür. Ayrıca öğretmen adaylarının öğrenim gördükleri anabilim dalları ile mesleğe ilişkin tutumları arasında anlamlı bir farklılık olmadığı tespit edilmiştir. Öğretmen adaylarının mesleğe ilişkin tutumlarına yönelik aldıkları, genel tutum puanının tutum seçeneklerinden “katılıyorum” seçeneğinde yer aldığı saptanmıştır. Bartın Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi öğretmen adaylarının mesleğe yönelik olumlu tutuma sahip oldukları belirlenmiştir.
The purpose of the study is to study the attitudes of teachers candidates towards the teaching profession. The study was conducted in the 2015-2016 academic year at the Faculty of Education of the University of Bartin on 86 teachers candidates who studied in the 4th grade of class education, social information education and mathematics education departments. The research is in the screening model. In the collection of data, 5 liquid type measurement tools consisting of 34 items were used. In the analysis of the obtained data, the statistical processes used frequency, percentage, independent groups t-test and one-way variance analysis. The study found that there was no statistically significant difference between teachers’ attitudes towards the profession and gender variants. It has also been found that there is no significant difference between the teaching disciplines that teachers are studying and their attitudes towards the profession. The teacher's candidates are given their attitudes towards the profession, the general attitude score is included in the "acceptance" option from the attitude options. The University of Bartin School of Education has determined that the teachers candidates have a positive attitude towards the profession.
