Abstract:

With the adoption of the Internet by individuals, many business models are now moving to the internet environment. With time and cost savings, this transformation becomes indispensable for individuals and. In 2008, the first cryptocurrency concept with Bitcoin, which was introduced by a person or group called Satoshi Nakamoto, emerged. The basis of Bitcoin is a technology called Blockchain. With its distributed, unchanged and transparent structure and the appearance that Blockchain technology is also available for processes of in addition to cryptocurrencies, interest in this area is increasing. Blockchain is expected to cause radical changes in all its underdimensions and management processes in the coming years. With the advantages of blockchain technology still there are various discussions on its applicability, it is believed that digital transformation could be one of the footsteps of in recent years. In this study, the definition of Blockchain, the investments made, was studied.
