Dil, bütün maddî ve manevî değerlerin, duygu, düşünce ve hatıraların ortak hazinesi ve milletlerin en önemli sosyal varlığıdır. Kültürün de ilk ve temel unsuru dildir. İdeolojik bakışlarla bir millet ve dil görmezden gelinip inkar edilmemelidir. Yani eğitimde, resmi dili de ana dili de vazgeçilmez gören bir anlayışa sahip olmak gerekir... Kültür, varlığını nesilden nesile aktararak devam eder. Gelenek ve görenekler, dünya görüşü, din, sanat, tarih vs. dil sayesinde nesillere aktarılır. Milletin ve diğer kültür unsurlarının oluşmasında etkili olan ve en başta gelen dildir Ne yazık ki Türkçemizi, yetmiş küsur yıldan beri, milletimiz ve mazimizden ayrı görenlerin ve: “Dilimizdeki yabancı kelimeleri atalım; Eski Türkçe kelimeleri canlandıralım” diyerek uydurma kelimeler yapanların elinde acınacak hale düşmüştür. Yeryüzünde başka dillerden kelime almamış saf bir dil mevcut değildir. Dillerdeki kelimeler değil, kelimelerin grameri, mimarisi; sesleri, iç ve dış musikisi millidir. Bugün "dil böler" diyen siyasetçilerin aksine Said-i Nursi, anadil ile verilen eğitim ve kültürün baki kalacağını ve milli lisanla işlenen bir şeyin, içeriği ne olursa olsun, insanlara sıcak geleceğini belirtmiştir. Yaşadığımız küresel çağdaki kuşakların ihtiyaçlarına cevap verebilecek bir eğitim sistemine çok ihtiyaç vardır. Üniversitelerimizde verilecek olan dil ve edebiyat dersleri, ilmî verimlilik için, belâgat dersiyle verilmeli, Anlamın gücünü sağlamak için, sadece kelimelerin kullanılmasıyla yetinilmeyip üslûp konusunun önemi de göz önünde bulundurulmalıdır. Büyük tahribat geçirerek bozulan bugünkü Türkçemiz, en mükemmel örnek, ölçü ve kalıp özellikleriyle, hakiki ve halis Türkçemize göre derlenerek düzeltilmelidir.
Language is the common treasure of all material and spiritual values, feelings, thoughts and memories, and the most important social existence of nations. The language is the first and fundamental element of culture. It should not be ignored or denied by the ideological views of a nation and language. That is, in education, the official language and the mother tongue must be understood as indispensable... Culture continues by transmitting its existence from generation to generation. Traditions and traditions, world view, religion, art, history, etc. are transmitted to generations. The language that has been influential in the formation of the nation and other cultural elements and that comes first of all has, unfortunately, become painful in the hands of those who have seen our Turkish language, since seven hundred years ago, separated from our nation and our minority, and who have made the words of expression by saying, "Let's take the foreign words in our language; let's revive the Old Turkish words." There is no pure language on earth that has no word from other languages. Not the words in the languages, but the grammar of the words, the architecture; the sounds, the inner and the external music. Today, unlike the politicians who say “language divides,” Said-i Nursi said that the education and culture given with the native language will remain left and that something processed with the national language, whatever its content, will come warm to people. There is a great need for an educational system that can meet the needs of generations in the global age we live in. The language and literature courses that will be given in our universities, for scientific efficiency, must be given with the documentation course, to ensure the power of meaning, not only to be satisfied with the use of words, but also to consider the importance of the subject. Our today’s Turkish, which has been devastated by great destruction, must be corrected by the most perfect example, size and modeling characteristics, according to our true and real Turkish.
