İsmet Kür (1916-2013) gerek çocuk edebiyatı alanında gerekse yetişkinlere yönelik kaleme aldığı eserle edebiyat tarihimizin önemli simalarından biridir. Yazarın çocuklara yönelik sekiz roman, bir tiyatro eseri ve üç seri radyofonik oyunu vardır. Kendisi de bir öğretmen olan yazar gerek çocuklara yönelik bu kurmaca eserlerde gerekse 1969-73 yılları arasında çeşitli gazetelerde yazdığı yazılarda eğitim meselesini çeşitli yönleriyle ele alıp değerlendirmiş, yazıların kaleme alındığı dönemde ülkemizde eğitimle ilgili sorunları ve bu sorunların çözümüyle ilgili düşüncelerini de dile getirmiştir. Bu çalışmada onun hem kurmaca eserlerinde hem de gazete yazılarında yer verdiği eğitim meselelerini belli bir düzen içinde ele alınarak aile, okul, devlet üçgeninde, bu kurumların eğitim konusundaki sorumlulukları ve birbirleriyle ilişkileri çerçevesinde değerlendirilecektir.
Ismet Kür (1916-2013) is one of the important symbols of our literary history with the work he has received in the field of children's literature, and it is necessary for adults. The author has eight children's novels, a theatrical work and three series of radio games. He is also a teacher and writer who has discussed and evaluated the issue of education in his writings in various newspapers between 1969 and 1973 and has expressed his thoughts on the issues of education and the solution of these problems in our country during the period of writing. In this study, the educational issues he deals with in his works and in his newspapers will be addressed in a certain order, in the family, school, state triangle, in the framework of the responsibilities of these institutions in the field of education and their relations with each other.
