So many results that aren't mine?

Abstract:

The purpose of this research is to examine the correlation between pre-service primary school teachers’ perception of self-efficacy toward Life Study teaching and their metacognitive awareness. The authors used correlational survey model for this study. The participants were selected through convenience sampling during the 2013- 2014 academic year. The sample of the study was consisted of 148 pre-service primary school teachers at Dumlupınar University. The data were collected through metacognitive awareness Inventory and a self-efficacy belief instrument for preservice primary school teachers’ toward instruction of life study lesson. The result of the study showed that participants’ metacognitive awareness was high and there was no significant difference by gender and class. In addition, it was found in the study that participants’ self-efficacy of life study lesson was high and there was no significant difference by gender. However there was a significant difference by class. It was also found that there were significant correlations between metacognitive awareness and self-efficacy toward life study lesson
