Abstract:

(Financial Evaluation of Private Hospital Sector) The objectives of this study are financial evaluation of private hospital sector in Turkey and determination of factors that effected the financial performance. Data was obtained from Turkish Central Bank after permission. The study covered 797 hospitals’ data which was available from TCMB. The years of 1994-2005 was used. Financial situation of private hospital sector was analysed by ratio and trend analysis.. Also, Mann-Whitney U Test was used for the determination of factors that effected the financial performance
