Araştırma, İstanbul ilinin Bahçelievler ilçesindeki liselerde görev yapan öğretmenlerin, okul yöneticilerine ilişkin algıladıkları otantik liderlik özelliklerinin, öğretmenlerin mesleki motivasyonlarını yordama gücünü belirlemek amacıyla ilişkisel tarama deseni kullanılarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın evreni, Bahçelievler ilçesinde görev yapan lise öğretmenleridir. Örneklem belirlenirken lise türleri tabaka olarak tanımlanmış, tabakalı örnekleme yoluyla seçilen liseler arasından tesadüfi oransız küme örneklemi yoluyla belirlenen 43 okulda görev yapan öğretmenlerden random olarak seçilen 436 öğretmen örneklemini oluşturmuştur. Verilerin toplanmasında “Otantik Liderlik Ölçeği” ve “İş Motivasyon Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Veriler; Pearson korelasyonu, basit regresyon analizi kullanılarak çözümlenmiştir. Araştırmanın sonucunda, öğretmenlerin algıladıkları otantik liderlik özellikleriyle mesleki motivasyonları arasında yüksek düzeyde pozitif bir ilişkinin olduğu, okul yöneticilerinin otantik liderlik özelliklerinin öğretmenlerin motivasyonlarının güçlü bir yordayıcısı olduğu saptanmıştır.
The aim of this research is to determine the predictive power of perceived authentic leadership levels of school administrators on the teachers' professional motivation. In this study, correlational design was used. Respectively, stratified and randomly cluster sampling method were used. The sample contains 43 schools and 436 high school teachers. "Authentic Leadership Scale" and "Business Motivation Scale" were used to collect data. Pearson and regression analysis were used. As a result of the research, it was concluded that there is a high-level positive relationship between the authentic leadership and the professional motivations. Also the authentic leadership qualities of the school administrators are the strong predictors of the teachers' motivation level.
