Abstract:

Companies must make specific decisions in all their activities, and most of the decisions are strategic decisions that can affect the competitive position of the company. One of the most important of these decisions is to determine the suppliers that will work together. Because the choice of suppliers is an important decision that plays a role in the long-term success of the business by influencing factors such as quality, cost, customer satisfaction. Therefore, it is of great importance to make the choice of the supplier with an objective approach. In this study, the problem of the choice of suppliers for an enterprise operating in the machinery industry was addressed. Since many qualitative and quantitative criteria should be taken into consideration together for the right selection of suppliers, the methods of analytical network process (ANP) and ELECTRE, from multi-criteria decision making techniques to the right selection of suppliers, have been integrated. All criteria related to the problem with the ANP method have been emphasized and 12 suppliers have been evaluated with the ELECTRE method.
