Abstract:

In terms of ethnic and religious problems the Balkans is one of the most dynamic geographies in international politics In the discussion which occurs with the independence of the Albanians of Kosovo who are one nations of the Balkan region this article firstly argues that several issues have to be taken into consideration together to make a consistent evaluation Because the Kosovo Problem has come out at local regional and international lines In addition in the reaction of Turkey concerning to Kosovo’s independence it is asserted that the importance of Kosovo in the Balkan politics of Turkey takes more place than the opinion that Kosovo can create a precedent for the southeastern region of Turkey Keywords: Kosovo Balkans Global actors Albanians Turkey
