Abstract:

Intense competition existing in all sectors is also observed between marina businesses. In this highly competitive environment, marinas, should maintain their existence, sustain their profitability and develop their corporations while they preserve and improve their quality. At this point, as an important concept in process management, “process analysis” emerges as vital element for the businesses. The main process which is directly related to the major services offered in marina businesses is ‘The Process of Marine Operations Activities”. This study aims to analyze the sub work processes within the marine operation activities, understand the current situation and provide evaluations for each process of a selected marina within the context of a case study. Seven sub-work processes of  the Marine Operations Activities in the selected marina have been analyzed; mapped and evaluated.
