Abstract:

Information in the historical sourses about the life of Ebû Hatim er-Râzî who lived in the early periods of Islamıc history is insufficiant. In the light of limited information and his extant works we can reach to the conclusion that he was Arabic linguist and notable inviter to Ismaili sect. His work titled Kitâbu’z-Zîne fî’l-Kelimâti’l-İslâmiyyeti’l-‘Arabiyye is a first book in the arabic language which examines signification and evolution of words and narrates texts and correct witnesses which reinforce his sayings.
