Abstract:

In these days where the population is getting relatively older, the impor-tance of having a young population has been increasing. Therefore, various studies have been performed, targeting the youth in Turkey. Although it is crucial to work with real and up to date information of a population that is as broad as possible while making plans for the youth, the research studies that were conducted on youth have been intended to a limited group or a specific subject of interest. As a result, they were insufficient for obtaining the profile of the youth in Turkey. Since the data is stored in various forms at different sources, the institu-tions focus only on their field of activity while analyzing the data and there is a lack of data integrity, the results obtained from analysis does not reflect different views in the public sector. However, making analysis from vari-ous views is very important for the public institutions to make the right strategic and tactical decisions at the right time, to set up projects that meet the requirements, to make situation assessment properly and to improve the quality of service. This could be possible with the collection of the data from different sources to a single center within the framework of common standards and with a model that enables performing the analysis on the dataset from centralized source. In this study, a model that is capable of meeting the aforementioned requirements is proposed.
