Bu çalışmada, finansal piyasalardaki gelişmelerin ekonomik büyümeye katkıda bulunduğunu iddia eden ve literatürde “arz önderliği” olarak bilinen teorinin, Türkiye ekonomisinin 1998:1-2009:4 dönemine ait verileri ile test edilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaçla, yurtiçi özel sektör kredi hacmi ile GSMH, ihracat, ithalat, İMKB endeksi, kapasite kullanım oranı ve sanayi üretim endeksi değişkenleri arasındaki ilişkiler incelenmiş ve bu aşamada En Küçük Kareler Yöntemi, Johansen Juselius Eşbütünleşme Testi ve Granger Nedensellik analizinden faydalanılmıştır. Analiz sonuçları, Türkiye ekonomisinde finansal piyasaların ekonomik büyüme ve reel sektörü önemli derecede etkilediğini göstermektedir.
in this study, the theory known as “the leadership in literature” is intended to be tested with the data of the turkish economy in 1998120094, for which the financial markets contribute to economic growth, and in the literature, is intended to be tested with the data of the turkish economy, for this purpose, domestic private sector credit volume and gsmh export import imkb index capacity usage rate and relations between industrial production index variables, and the smallest squares method in this stage is used by johansen juselius mapping test and granger causality analysis results in the economic growth sector in the turkish economy
