Abstract:

In this research, it is aimed that Turkish lesson attitudes of wunderkind and gifted students who studies in Bartın Science and Art Center (BİLSEM) are examined depending on the variables such as the student's sexuality, the level of the school,their parent's educational level, the kind of the school and education program. In the research, a 20-items '' Attitude Scale towards Turkish Lesson'' which takes part in Turkish Lesson Educational Program and Guide (2006) prepared by Ministry of Education is used on the purpose of determining the student's attitudes towards Turkish lesson. It is observed that there isn't any statistically meaningful difference depending on learning level, mother's educational status, the kind of the school and BİLSEM program; but there is a statistically meaningful difference depending on sexuality and parent's educational status in the student's attitudes towards Turkish lesson. The outcomes are analyzed comparatively with the studies made in nationally and internationally and in line with these outcomes, it is discussed about what can be done about Turkish education of the students who are selected to BİLSEMs that is developed as an appropriate model for our country's conditions, for their being ''wunderkind and gifted''.
