This article aims at introducing Muhammad Ismail al-Udvi as-Sindi (1897-1970), one of the contemporary Muslim scholars, to the academic world of Turkey. Due to his low profile he is not known by many even in his own country as he is totally unknown to Turkish academic world, despite the fact that he is among the great scholars and Exegets of our time. He is the author of eighteen valuable books and articles on different issues of Islamic sciences in various languages mainly the Arabic. He was born in Shikarpur city situated in the Sindh province of Pakistan. He spent most of his time in the same city and died there. The purpose of this work is to fill communication gap between the scholars of Turkey and scholars of Indian Sub-Continent from academic point of view.
