Abstract:

The propaganda activities, which played an important role in the 20th century, have been used very effectively for the deployment of new system, which was established in Russia with the October Revolution of 1917. This article examines the Oriental identities of some posters that the Soviet Union used in its domestic propaganda activities in the “eastern” geographical sphere; within that process of incorporating they’re the new order. Propaganda posters were used as a socio-cultural, economic and political means of communication by societies and may show some changes simultaneously with historical and current events. The eastern images of the Soviet Propaganda posters also have an ideological continuity, even if it is handled in different forms and purposes by the evolution of the system in the historical process. These posters have made the Idil-Ural, Crimean, Caucasian, Siberian and Central Asian peoples to have a very functional and important place in the Soviet system as a means of raising awareness of anti-system capitalism, fascism, and bigotry.
