Abstract:

Çalışmanın amacı, Türk ekonomisi için dönüm noktası olarak nitelendirilen 1980 döneminden sonra Türk bankacılık sektörünün bankacılık düzenleme ve denetleme sisteminin etkinliğini “Bankacılık Kanunu, Kanun Hükmünde Kararnameler ve Ek Tebliğler” ile ölçmektir. Çalışmanın varsayımı ise, Türk bankacılık sisteminde yapılan hukuki altyapılar ile düzenleme-denetleme etkinliğinde artış olduğudur. Çalışmanın bulgularına göre; 1980 döneminden sonra Türk bankacılık sektörünün düzenleme ve denetlemedeki yasal zemin etkinliği artmıştır.
