Abstract:

Syrian people are one of the most ancient peoples of Mesopotamia. these people that Christianity's first centuries, various civilizations have lived together seamlessly representatives. Located Assyrians in the Ottoman Empire in the millet system, together with the establishment of the Republic of Turkey "minority" is "an essential element" accepted and this is guaranteed by the Treaty of Lausanne. Turkey's institutions are Assyrians had in common development and the maturation process like all other people are involved in this partnership with Turkish Christian community. Turkey's problems such as the growing economic crisis and terrorism starting from 1960 has also affected the Syrians, like all people, and this has shown itself in the affected migration. Syrians have started to migrate from these years and have continued migration from Turkey. As a result of migration, many studies carried out genocide against the Assyrian Syriac identity in different countries have been trying to establish identity. This is the first study of ancient Mesopotamian Christians or people deal with the Assyrians and the Assyrian Diaspora. Assyrian and Syriac diaspora in the factors affecting the formation of working are discussed. Studies of the Syriac diaspora worldwide and contribute to the Assyrian identity of these studies were examined.
