Abstract:

Bu araştırmanın temel amacı felsefe tarihinde önemli tartışmalara yol açan kötülük sorununu irdelemektir. Şüphesiz kötülük konusu bütün teist dinlerde Tanrı’nın varlığı için büyük bir sorun teşkil eder. Zira ateistler dünyadaki kötülüklerle mutlak iyi, mutlak kudret sahibi olan bir Tanrı’nın varlığınının mantıksal çelişkiye düşmeden savunulamayacağını ileri sürerler. Tüm varlığı Tanrı’ya dayandırarak açıklamaya çalışan teistler, ateistlerin karşı-kanıt olarak ortaya koydukları kötülük için dinsel ve ahlâkî gerekçeler bulmaya çaba harcamışlardır. Biz bu makalede çağımızın önemli düşünürlerinden biri olan Richard Swinburne’ün kötülük sorununa yaklaşımı ve çözüm yolları üzerinde duracağız
