Abstract:

Turkish Second New is a poetry movement of Turkish Literature after 1950, which has had significant influence. Although the poets being included in this movement have abstained from taking place in it, lots of poets are mentioned as the members of this movement in the history of literature. One of these poets is a poem. The aim of this study is to explain and introduce the literary understanding and the poems of Tevfik Akdağ, a poet whose name cannot be seen much in the history of literature although he has written down poems by regarding the features of Turkish Second New Poetry. To this goal, the poems taking place in the three poetry books by the poet have been analyzed and it is tried to explain why his name has been forgotten.
