Abstract:

The provisions about the bills of exchange are regulated by the Turkish Commercial Code. Bills of exchange are negotiable instrument which represent money. These bills are subject to strict formal conditions. Furthermore abstract principle in bills of exchange are approved namely the indepence of the bill from the main debt relation which caused its arrangment. Being subject to abstract principle and strict formal conditions has improved the re liability and the circulatory power of the bills of exchange. By considering the pace of the business life and the circulatory power of the bills of exchange, There are more advantaged ways compare with others enforcement procedure are regulated for cerditors whose claim depends on bills of exchange in the Code of Execution and Bankruptcy.
