Abstract:

Children, young people, elderly people, disabled people, immigrants, minorities, former prisoners, women, single-parent families and poor people are often accepted as disadvantaged groups. Today, efforts are continuing to increase and develop activities towards disadvantaged groups. It is important to provide and support activities aimed at disadvantaged groups within the framework of the social state understanding. It is also necessary to ensure the active participation of disabled groups in society, to protect them and to support them for the development of society. In this study, in the framework of the social state understanding, activities aimed at disadvantaged groups in Turkey have been evaluated and various recommendations have been made.
