Öğretmen nitelikleri üstün yetenekli bireylerin eğitiminde önemli bir unsurdur. Bu çalışmanın amacı, 2017-2018 öğretim yılında Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi Sınıf Eğitimi, Türkçe Eğitimi, Fen Bilgisi Eğitimi ve Okul Öncesi Eğitimi Anabilim Dalı 4. Sınıf öğretmen adaylarının üstün yetenekli öğrencilerin eğitimine ilişkin öz yeterlilik düzeylerinin bazı değişkenler açısından tespit etmektir. Araştırmada nicel araştırma modellerinden ilişkisel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada araştırmacılar tarafından hazırlanan Kişisel Bilgi Formu ve Tortop (2014) tarafından geliştirilen “Öğretmenler İçin Üstün Yetenekli Bireylerin Eğitimine İlişkin Öz Yeterlik Algısı Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Araştırma verileri SPSS 21.0 programı ile analiz edilmiştir Araştırma verilerinin analizinin yüzde, frekans, aritmetik ortalama, bağımsız örneklemler için t-testi ve tek yönlü varyans analizi (ANOVA) kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda öğretmen adaylarının üstün yetenekli öğrencilerin eğitimine ilişkin öz yeterlilik ölçeğinin “Akademik Yeterlik”,“Mentörlük (Danışmanlık) Yeterlik” “Sorumluluk”, “Uygun Kişilik Özellik Yeterlik” ve “Yaratıcılığı Teşvik Etme” boyutlarında öğrenim görülen anabilim dalı değişkenine göre anlamlı farklılık gösterdiği görülmüştür. Teachers' qualifications are an important aspect in the education of gifted individuals. The primary concern of the present study is to determine the self-efficacy levels of the preservice teachers in relation to gifted students in the fourth year of their undergraduate education in the departments of Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Turkish Language, and Science Teaching in the College of Education at Çanakkale Eighth March University in the 2017-2018 academic year. This is a correlational study based on the quantitative research model. Data were collected using a Demographic Information Form, created by the researchers, and "Gifted Education Self-Efficacy Scale for Teachers", developed by Tortop (2014). Data were analyzed using SPSS 21.0. Percentages, frequencies, and average scores were considered and Independent samples t-test and One-Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) were employed for the analyses of the data. The results revealed a significant department-based difference in the domains "Academic Qualification", "Mentorship (Advisorship) Qualification", "Responsibility", "Personality Traits", and "Creativity Fostering Qualification".
