Abstract:

Today, the use of mobile devices is increasing, and mobile phones, especially for young people, are becoming an integral part of their lives. For communication faculty students, mobile technologies are not only an indispensable element of their private life, they are also an important tool in terms of their future professions. Zira, along with the rapid development of the Internet and new communication technologies, mobile devices, cameras, audio recorders, fictional computers, etc. It has become a mobile media tool that hosts many features, and the production of content that previously demanded high costs has become possible today with a mobile phone. The new media-changing and transforming news production practice has also revealed a new business model that is only carried out by mobile phones and called mobile communications. In this context, the teaching of the proper use of mobile phones in the new media and communications training provided by the Communications Faculty can enable future communicators to effectively incorporate mobile technology into their professional lives. In this study, Mersin University Communications Faculty students have studied the mobile communications practices they experience within the framework of the New Media and Communications course.
