TÜRK EDEBİYATINDA Mİ’RÂCİYYE GELENEĞİ VE HARPUTLU RAHMÎ’NİN BEYÂN-I Mİ’RÂC BAŞLIKLI MANZUMESİ

Abstract:

Harput was one of the important civic centers of Ottoman land. Lots of scholars, poets and litterateurs trained in this civic center, each one is valuable and has an important place in Turkish cultural history. Rahmi is one of these merits. Mostly known as with his forename Harputlu, Rahmi, born in Harput in the begining of 19th century, raised in cultural atmosphere of Harput, written poems that could constitute a divan in classical Türkish literature and an important personality who effected lots of poets from Harput that raised after him foremost Hacı Hayri Bey. Harputlu Rahmi written poems in classical poem structure, in his Divan there are lots of poems written in different variety like kaside, kıt’a, terci-i bent, müstezat and gazel. One of these poems is a mi’râciyye named “beyān-ı mîrāc” that tells about events in Prophet Muhammed's physical and spiritual night trip from Mescid-i Haram in Mecca  to Mescid-i Aksa in Jerusalem, and to seven levels of Heaven with a mi’râc, with the command of Allah. In this study, after giving the literal meaning of mi’râc, mi’râc in Arab, Fars and Turkish literature and short information about motifs in mi’râciyye, information about form and context of poem named “beyān-ı mîrāc” is given that appear in Harputlu Rahmi Divan, and mi’râc motifs in this poem are told. At last, the study is evaluated and summarized with a conclusion.
