Abstract:

Özet: Bu makalede kırmızı rengin Osmanlı şairlerinin dünyasında hangi anlam ve çağrışımlara karşılık geldiği araştırılmıştır. Divan şairleri kırmızı rengin heyecan ve gerginlik uyandıran etkisinden olabildiğince yararlanmışlardır. Bu anlamda kırmızı rengin simgesel kullanımı son derece geniş bir yelpaze oluşturmaktadır. Öfke ve savaş çağrışımının yanında kadınlarda güzellik unsuru, hükümdarlık, bayram veya bayrak imgesi hep bu renkle ilişkilendirilmiştir. Aynı rengi ifade eden Türkçe kökenli kızıl sözcüğünün ise daha çok deyimleşmiş kalıp ifadelerde tercih edildiği görülmüştür. Kızılbaş, Kızılelma, kızıl deli, ağzı kızıl gibi… Divan şairleri renklerin yalnızca simgesel anlamlarından yararlanmakla kalmamış, renklerin görsel etkinden de yararlanmak üzere beyitleri adeta tablo çizen ressam hassasiyetiyle olabildiğince seçici davranmışlardır. Aynı beyitte, kırmızı ile birlikte başka bazı renklere yer verilirken rastlantı söz konusu değildir. Resim sanatında olduğu gibi, görsel etki uyandırmak üzere uyumlu ve karşıt renkler dengeli biçimde bir araya getirilmiştir. Anahtar kelimeler: Osmanlı şiiri, kırmızı, kızıl    THE COLOR RED IN DIVAN POETRY   Abstract: This article studies the meaning and connotation which corresponds the red color in the world of the Ottoman poets. Divan poets have benefitted from impact of the excisement and tension that the red color aroses. In this sense symbolic use of red constitutes an extremely wide range. Besides the connotation of war and rage, it is the element of beauty in women; reign, festivals or flag image has always been associated with that color. Turkish word scarlet expressing the same color has been shown to be preferred in idiomatic expressions. Such as Kızılbaş, Kızılelma, scarlet crazy, like scarlet mouth ... Divan Poets are not only benefit from the symbolic meaning of color, the artist also draws almost sensitive verses to benefit from the visual effect of the colors. It is not a coincidence that we see some other colors used with red in the same verse. As in art of painting, opposite colors brought together in a harmonious and balanced manner to evoke visual impact.   Keywords: Ottoman poetry, red, scarlet
