Bu araştırmanın amacı bağlanma stilleri ve yaşam doyumu arasındaki ilişkide ihtiyaç doyumunun aracı rolünü incelemektir. Bu amaçla Marmara Üniversitesi Atatürk Eğitim Fakültesi’de öğrenimine devam eden, yaşları 18-24 arasında değişen 132 si erkek, 187 si kız toplam 329 üniversite öğrenciden veri toplanmıştır. Veri toplama araçları olarak Bağlanma Stilleri Ölçeği, Yaşam Doyumu Ölçeği ve İhtiyaç Doyumu Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Yol analizi sonuçları, katılımcıların yaşam doyumlarının hem bağlanma stilleri hem de temel psikolojik ihtiyaçların doyumu değişkenleri tarafından anlamlı bir şekilde yordandığını göstermiştir. Bağlanma stilleriyle yaşam doyumu arasındaki ilişkide aracılık etkisi incelenen ihtiyaç doyumunun, sadece güvenli ve saplantılı bağlanma stilleri için kısmi aracı etkisinin olduğu gözlenmiştir. Araştırmadan elde edilen bulgular alanyazın ışığında tartışılmış ve gelecekteki araştırmalara yönelik bazı öneriler sunulmuştur.
The purpose of this research is to study the role of the means of need satisfaction in the relationship between the styles of connection and life satisfaction. For this purpose, the data were collected from 132 si boys, 187 si girls, who are between 18-24 years of age, continuing to study at the University of Marmara Ataturk Education Faculty, a total of 329 university students. Data collection tools have been used as the Scale of Connection Styles, the Scale of Life Doyle and the Scale of Need Doyle. The results of the road analysis showed that the participants’ life satisfaction was significantly absorbed by both the bonding styles and the satisfaction variables of the basic psychological needs. The mediation effect in the relationship between connectivity styles and life satisfaction has been observed that the need satisfaction is only a partial mediation effect for secure and confused connectivity styles. The findings obtained from the research were discussed in the light of the area and some recommendations for future research were presented.
This study aims to investigate the mediating role of need satisfaction in the relationship between attachment styles and life satisfaction. For this purpose, data have been collected from a total of 329 university students (132 males, 187 females) between 18-24 years old studying at Marmara University’s Faculty of Education. The Relationships Scale Questionnaire, Satisfaction with Life Scale, and Need Satisfaction Scale have been used as data collection tools. The results from the path analysis show both attachment styles and satisfaction of basic psychological needs to significantly predict participants’ life satisfaction. The mediating effect of the relationship between attachment styles and life satisfaction has been found as a partial mediator effect only for secure and preoccupied attachment styles. The findings from the research are discussed in light of the literature, with certain suggestions being made for future research.
