Abstract:

Bu araştırmada; İlkokulda Oyun ve Fizikî Etkinlikler dersinin amacına ulaşabilmesi için sınıf öğretmenlerinin beklentilerinin tespit edilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmada, nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden görüşme yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini,2007-2008 Eğitim-Öğretim Yılı Bahar Döneminde araştırmaya katılmaya gönüllü olan ve Ankara İl merkezinde görev yapan12 (6 Erkek, 6 Kadın) sınıf öğretmeni oluşturmuştur. Nitel verilere, araştırmaya katılan 12 sınıf öğretmeni ile yapılan yüz yüze görüşme yoluyla ulaşılmış, veriler nitel araştırmanın içerik analizi yöntemiyle analiz edilmiştir. İçerik analizinde, birbirine benzeyen veriler belirli kavramlar ve temalar çerçevesinde bir araya getirilerek yorumlanmıştır.Araştırma sonucunda, sınıf öğretmenlerinin beklentileri; spor salonlarının yapılması ve oyun ve fizikî etkinlikler dersine ilişkin araç-gereç ve malzemenin sağlanması, ilkokul 1. sınıftan itibaren branş öğretmenlerinin oyun ve fizikî etkinlikler dersine girmesi, bu ders ile ilgili sınıf öğretmenlerine seminer ve hizmet içi eğitim kurslarının verilmesi, sınıf öğretmenlerinin bu derste başka dersleri yapmamaları ve bu derse yönelik bilgi ve becerilerini geliştirmeleri olmuştur.
