2017 YILI HAYAT BİLGİSİ DERSİ ÖĞRETİM PROGRAMININ ÖĞRETMEN GÖRÜŞLERİNE GÖRE DEĞERLENDİRİLMESİ

Abstract:

Bu araştırmanın amacı hayat Bilgisi dersi öğretim programının öğretmen görüşlerine göre değerlendirilmesidir. Araştırma nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden fenomonoloji yöntemiyle gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu Yozgat Merkez, Yozgat Sorgun ve Sorgun Esenli Kasabasında görev yapmakta olan 32 sınıf öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Veri toplama aracı olarak yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme tekniği kullanılmıştır. Ulaşılan veriler içerik analizine tabi tutulmuştur. Elde edilen bulgulara dayalı veriler kategorize edilerek çizelgelerde belirtilmiştir. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre öğretmenler  ağırlıklı olarak hayat bilgisi dersi öğretim programındaki kazanımları hayata uyarlanabildiğini belirtmişlerdir. Çevresel şartların, ailesel şartların ve bireysel şartların bu kazanımların uygulanmasında zorluk oluşturabildiğini, bazı kavramların soyut kaldığını, bazı kazanımların ise sınıf seviyesinin üstünde olduğunu belirtmişlerdir. Konuların fazla sürelerin ise az olduğu bazı öğretmenler tarafından vurgulanmasına rağmen çoğunluk süreleri yeterli görmektedir. Ders ve çalışma kitaplarının daha nitelikli olması gerektiği üzerinde duran öğretmenler materyallerinin yeterli olmadığını bildirmişlerdir.  Öğretmenlerin çoğu ölçme ve değerlendirmede soru-cevap, gözlem formları ve sınıf içi ve dışı etkinlikleri baz almaktadır. Bunların yanında test, boşluk doldurma, doğru-yanlış, eşleştirme ve açık uçlu soruları kullanmaktadırlar. Öğretmenler genel olarak standart ölçme ve değerlendirme yöntemlerini kullanmaktadırlar.  Atatürkçülük konularının yeterliliği konusunda çoğunluk yeterli bulmakla birlikte Atatürk'ün hayatının yanında milli duyguları yansıtacak konuların işlenmesi ve Atatürkçülükle ilişkilendirilmesi gerektiği belirtilmiştir. Öğretmenler programa katkı amaçlı olarak programın günlük yaşam ile daha ilişkili olması gerektiğini belirtmişlerdir. Ders kitaplarının görsellerinin ve etkinliklerinin daha iyi olması gerektiğini belirtmişlerdir. Programın daha esnek olması gerektiğini belirtmişlerdir. Araştırma sonuçları kapsamında önerilerde bulunulmuştur.

Abstract:

The purpose of this research is to evaluate the life knowledge curriculum according to the teacher's opinions. The research was carried out by phenomonological methods. The research work group consists of 32 class teachers working in Yozgat Center, Yozgat Sorgun and Sorgun Esenli City. A semi-configured conversation technique has been used as a data collection tool. The data is subject to content analysis. Based on the results obtained, the data are categorized in the diagrams. According to the results of the research, teachers have pointed out that the achievements in the life-knowledge curriculum can be adapted to life. They pointed out that environmental conditions, family conditions, and individual conditions can make it difficult to implement these achievements, that some concepts remain abstract, and that some achievements are above the class level. Though the topics are highlighted by a few teachers, the majority of them find the time enough. Teachers who stand on that the lessons and workshops should be more qualified have that the materials are not sufficient.  Most teachers are based on question-response, observation forms and classroom and non-class activities in measurement and evaluation. In addition to them, they use test, emptiness filling, correct and wrong, matching and open end questions. Teachers generally use standard measurement and evaluation methods.  The majority on the adequacy of the Atatürkçülük subjects should be found sufficient, but the processing of the subjects that will reflect the national feelings alongside Atatürk's life should be linked to Atatürkçülük. Teachers have pointed out that the program should be more related to daily life for the purpose of contributing to the program. They pointed out that the images and activities of the teaching books should be better. He said the program should be more flexible. The results of the research were presented in recommendations.

The aim of this research is to evaluate the life science lesson curriculum according to teacher opinions. The research was carried out by means of phenomonology from qualitative research methods. The study group of the study is composed of 32 class teachers working in Yozgat, Sorgun and Esenli Township. Semi-structured interview technique was used as data collection tool. The data were analyzed for content. The data based on the findings are categorized and indicated in the charts. According to the results of the research; they emphasized that the achievements of the lecture curriculum are mainly adaptable to life. They have stated that environmental conditions, familial conditions and individual circumstances can create difficulties in applying these gains, that some concepts are abstract, and some gains are above the class level. Even though some of the teachers have emphasized that the longer the duration of the topics is, the more the majority periods are sufficient. Teachers who emphasized that the course and workbooks should be more qualified, reported that the materials were not sufficient. Most teachers are based on questions and answers, observation forms and in-class and out-of-class activities on assessment and evaluation. They use tests, space filling, true-false, matching, and open-ended questions. Teachers generally use standard assessment and assessment methods. As for the sufficiency of Atatürk's subjects, majority stated that it is sufficient to reflect the national feelings of Atatürk and to be associated with Kemalism. Teachers have indicated that the program should be more relevant to daily life in order to contribute to the program. They stated that the visuals and activities of the textbooks should be better. They stated that the program should be more flexible. Suggestions were made within the scope of the research results.
