Abstract:

The objective of this study is to study the relationship between age and age-to-age view flow in the context of self-debates and to evaluate the subject from a sociological and critical perspective in the light of the data obtained in accordance with this objective. From here, the perspective of aging and aging in the study has been linked to each other in the context of self-determination discussions; the definitions of the concepts of aging and self-determination, the findings obtained in the study and the necessary suggestions have been made by making an assessment from a critical perspective based on these findings. In addition, the findings obtained in this study by scan research from quantitative research methods were collected by the researchers, first aimed at determining the opinions of all individuals in each age group and distributed in the electronic environment with the "Aging and Aging Perspective Survey in the Context of Self-Discussions". The survey was prepared to determine the thoughts of individuals of different age groups about aging and aging and consists of 20 suggestions. A total of 440 people from different provinces, according to the different occupations, age, gender, graduation and age, participated in the survey and the result of this participation determined significant differences in the context of the variables concerned. According to the results of the study, individuals of different age groups in general have a positive view of the elderly and participants of different age groups indicate that elderly individuals are not a burden to the family and the state, and they do not participate in the suggestions that elderly individuals should only worship, do not make any contribution to society, and do not participate in everyday life. On the other hand, the participants noted that elderly individuals should not take priority in their work life. The results were given in the light of the recommendations.
