Abstract:

The mouths, which are one of the most important wealth of Turkish, play a decisive role in revealing the line of change and development of Turkish words with many different sounds and shapes they host in their bodies. It is possible to find many sounds, shapes and words in the mouths that are not in the writing language. Your name is one of our rich mouth areas, according to its rooted history and the structure of the people living in the region. The aim of this study is to identify the geographical terms in the name of the island and the area, which is one of our rich mouth areas, and to determine the characteristics of the use of these terms in Turkish. Scientific terms in the field of geography are identified while Prof. Dr. Reşat Izbırak's Geographic Terms Dictionary with Doç. Ferruh Sanir's geographical terms are moved through the terms in the Dictionary. In our work, we will study the geographical terms in the work of Burak Telli and Turker Peace Bulduk, who prepares the most comprehensive work on the existence of the word of the name area, "Adıyaman Ili and the mouth of the mouth of the word".
