Beton tüm dünyada yaygın olarak kullanılan kompozit bir yapı malzemesi olarak adlandırılmaktadır. Betonun hacimsel olarak % 75 gibi yüksek bir oranını temsil eden ise agregalardır. Agregalar betonun kimyasal, fiziksel ve mekanik özelliklerini direkt olarak etkileyen malzemelerdir. Bu çalışmada Elbistan bölgesinde mevcut bulunan üç farklı agrega ocağından çıkarılan agregaların beton üretiminde kullanımının uygunluğu incelenmiştir. Agregalara birim hacim ağırlığı, özgül ağırlık deneyi, su emme oranları, metilen mavisi deneyi, organik madde oranı tayini, aşınma miktarı oranı, los angeles, granülometri eğrileri ve donma çözülme etkisine karşı dayanımları deneysel olarak belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca agregaların beton üretiminde kullanılabilirliğini belirmek amacıyla 350 kg/dm3 çimento dozajında beton numuneler üretilmiştir. Üretilen beton numunelerin 7, 28 ve 90 gün sonunda beton deneyleri gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda elde edilen veriler agrega ocaklarında çıkarılan agregaların TS 706 EN 12620 (2009) standartları içerisinde kabul edilebilir değerleri taşıdığı, beton üretiminde de kullanılabileceği kanısını taşımaktadır.
Beton is known as a composite building material that is widely used worldwide. Those that represent a volume of as much as 75% of concrete are aggregates. Agregates are materials that directly affect the chemical, physical and mechanical properties of concrete. This study examined the suitability of the use of aggregates extracted from the three different aggregate stores available in the region of Elbistan in concrete production. The aggregates have experimentally determined unit volume weight, specific weight test, water absorption rates, methylene blue test, organic substance ratio determination, exhaust amount ratio, los angeles, granulometry curves and resistance to the freezing dissolving effect. In addition, for the purpose of determining the availability of aggregates in concrete production, 350 kg/dm3 cement doses of concrete samples have been produced. Beton tests were carried out at the end of 7, 28 and 90 days of the produced concrete samples. The results of the study suggest that the aggregates extracted in the aggregates have acceptable values within the standards TS 706 EN 12620 (2009) and can also be used in concrete production.
