Bu çalışmanın amacı yükselen piyasa ekonomilerinde ekonomik büyüme ve doğrudan yabancı yatırımların karbondioksit salınımı üzerindeki etkisini incelemektir. Çalışmanın kapsamı yükselen piyasa ekonomileri ve 1990-2016 dönemidir. Çalışmada yöntem olarak yatay kesit bağımlılık testi, homojenite testi ve AMG katsayı tahmincisi kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre ekonomik büyüme ve doğrudan yabancı yatırımlardaki %1’lik bir artışın karbondioksit salınımını sırasıyla 0.1462 ve 0.0032 arttırdığı görülmüştür.
The aim of this study is to examine the impact of economic growth and foreign direct investment on carbon dioxide emissions in emerging market economies. The scope of the study is the rising market economies and the 1990-2016 period. The study used the method of the horizontal cut addiction test, the homogenity test and the AMG ratio forecast. According to the results obtained, economic growth and an increase of 1% in foreign direct investments increased carbon dioxide emissions by 0.1462 and 0.0032 respectively.
