Abstract:

Since the 1940s, many valuable studies have been carried out on Anatolian dialects. Although this field of study has gained considerable importance in recent years, there are still many dialects that have never been studied. One of these dialect regions is Dündar Village Dialect of the Orhaneli District of Bursa Province. Dündar Village is a residential area that has remained away from the influence of economic and social centers, and thus largely isolated from the rapid and sudden changes in all areas. Looking at the demographic characteristics, almost all of the population consists of Manav people. The fact that the population is not mixed has also facilitated our study. Our aim in this study is to identify Dündar village in a historic change of tone in dialect and the confluence with the standard Turkish language of Turkey on the points at which it changes and differentiates. For this purpose, firstly a compilation was made, the compilations were transferred to the text, and then, based on the texts, Dündar Village Dialect was examined under the headings of "sounds, sound changes, sound events and sound harmonies."
