Abstract:

With the evaluation of plant fiber, the transformation of it into objects such as grid, grid, seat, the art of heritage has begun. The techniques applied to products manufactured without any vehicle use, the animal fiber was also considered as a thread by different instruments and the result of the appearance of handworks used in daily life and the raw material fiber.  A group of cultural assets included in this scope is formed by socks and patches, which are used by traditional methods by using injection, clothes or bulbs and used as footwear.  The technology and vehicles used in the production of these elements known to have begun to be used in the processes prior to the milt have been developed and spread. One of the geographics where the traditional methods of shoes and patches are continued is the Anadolu land we live on today. The universe of the study is the traditional socks and patches of the Sırnak Idil district. The research has taken advantage of the qualitative research method based on interview, documentation, visual and documentary analysis. The sample group consists of seventy socks and fifteen patches. The aim is to explore the traditional handheld shoes and patches identified in Idil from the point of view of the material, technique, composition, motivation and meaning burden and to reveal the place of the elements in Idil's thick mounting works class within the traditional shoe mounting. It has been observed that local footwear was manufactured using traditional techniques but there was a change in material. It is also understood that the motives reflect the tradition and are different from those used in different places of Anatolia only in terms of designation.
