Abstract:

The purpose of this research is to evaluate the historical information they learned from the museum, the feelings and thoughts that the museum has lived to them, by moving from the views of visitors to the Harp Historical Museum of Kars Front.  The method of study is based on document analysis.  The work group of this research was formed by visitors to the Harp Historical Museum of the Kars Front. The data is evaluated according to the content analysis. The data obtained from the interlocutors is coded and collected in nine categories. When the results of the study were evaluated, it was found that because the museum has become a place addressing emotions from the point of view of the design, the visitors appeared to give more responses to the sensory area, while they did not write letters to the cognitive area. One of the objectives of the museums is to provide visitors with information about the past. It is believed that educators should do a research on where this deficiency arises. The Kafkas Front Harp Historical Museum is understood to provide great opportunities for educators in terms of history teaching, war and treaties teaching.
