Abstract:

This study is aimed at examining the levels of the interrogative-research-based teaching method of the activities included in the Secondary School of Science Curriculum Books. The study was conducted by the method of document analysis from research methods and the method of visual analysis was used in the analysis of data. In accordance with the purpose of the study; in accordance with the 2018 renewed Science Teaching Program prepared in the 5, 6, 7 and 8 Class Science Teaching Books of the activities in question-research-based teaching methods of the levels of the study, the status of representation of levels in the books has been determined. For this purpose, first and foremost; the level and characteristics determined in the field for questionnaire-research was created to analyze the activities of the "Determination Table of the levels of the method of teaching based on questionnaire-research in the activities". After using this table, the levels of the activities were identified by making coding to the standards, taking into account the amount of directing from each activity material in the books. The results of the analysis differ according to class levels while taking into account all class levels, Science shows that the accumulation of activities at the survey-research level is generally structured in the curriculum books, and that the activity rates at the guidance and open survey-research level are low. According to the results of this study, it can be said that the scientific field at all levels will be up-to-date and that newly written curriculum books should be improved by increasing the effectiveness rates at the question-research level.
