Abstract:

This research is important in order to understand the factors that influence the class teachers’ organizational sinism perception. Because teaching profession requires working together with different stakeholders, organizational sinism is a frequent situation. In this study, the demographic characteristics that influence the organizational sinism levels of classmates were studied. The purpose of the study is to identify the state of differentiation of class teachers' organizational sinism perceptions and sinism perceptions according to the level of education, gender, time of work in school, age and professional age characteristics. In the study, visual and relative scan methods were used. The research was carried out with 214 class teachers working in the Istanbul Bağcılar District. As a data collection tool, the demographic data form prepared by the researcher was used by the "Organizational Synonym Scale" developed by the Safer and Son (2002). The data is analyzed with the SPSS program. According to the results of the research, there is a significant difference between gender, age, civil status, time of work at school, professional age and variables in terms of professional sinism. According to the research results, factors such as gender, age, civil status, time of work at school and professional age influence classmates’ organizational sinism perception. These research findings show that educational organizations should focus on reducing organizational sinism perception in order to improve teachers’ work satisfaction and performance.
