Özet Mülteci öğrencilerin Türkiye algısının görsel olarak incelenmesinin amaçlandığı bu çalışmada betimsel tarama modeline göre nitel araştırması yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu Uşak merkezde bulunan üç ilkokul ve üç ortaokulda öğrenim gören Afganistan, Irak, İran ve Suriye’den gelen 33 mülteci öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Öğrencilere resimler belirlenen temalara göre çizdirilmiştir. Öğrencilerin resimleri doküman analizi yapılarak incelenmiştir. Mülteci öğrencilerin Türkiye’de eğitim öğretimle ilgili sorunlarını ortaya koymamıştır. Mülteci öğrenciler eğitim açısından Türkiye topraklarını geleceğe açılan bir fırsat olarak değerlendirilmiştir. Mülteci öğrenciler kendi ülkelerinde yaşadıkları ve travmaya neden olan yaşantılarını ortaya koymuştur. Kendi ülkelerini anlatan resimlerinin dışında kalan tüm resimlerinde Türk Bayrağını ve kurucu lider olarak Atatürk’ü çizmişlerdir. Türkiye’yi güvenilir ve sığınılacak bir ülke olarak algıladıkları sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
In this study, which aims to visually study the perception of the refugees students of Turkey, a quality research method was used according to the visual scan model. The study group consisted of 33 refugees from Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran and Syria who studied in three primary and secondary schools located in the Ushak center. The students have painted pictures according to themes. Students' images were studied by document analysis. Refugee students have not revealed their problems with education in Turkey. Refugee students have been regarded as an opportunity to open the territory of Turkey to the future in terms of education. Refugees students have revealed their lives in their own countries and that they have caused trauma. In all the pictures that remained, except the pictures of their own countries, they painted the Turkish flag and Atatürk as the founder leader. The conclusion is that they recognize Turkey as a reliable and refugee country.
