Anadolu ve Malatya tarihi ticaret yolları, jeopolitik ve topografya özellikleri nedeniyle tarih boyunca birçok uygarlık tarafından yerleşim alanı olarak tercih edilmiştir. Bu bağlamda Malatya kültürel ve doğal miras bakımından çok zengin ve çeşitli mimari mirasa ve dokuya sahiptir. Kültürel mirasımızın önemli bir bölümünü oluşturan geleneksel konutlar, yapıldığı bölgelerdeki sosyo-kültürel ve çevresel etmenlerden etkilenerek ve şekillenerek günümüze kadar gelmiştir. Geleneksel Türk evi; Anadolu’nun çevresel ve kültürel ortamı, Türklerin Orta Asya’dan getirdikleri kültürel ve mimari miras ve İslam inancının etkileşiminden ortaya çıkmıştır. Bu nedenle geleneksel konutlar yapıldığı bölgenin iklim, topoğrafya, kültürel ortam gibi fiziksel ve kültürel normların özellikleri ve çeşitliliğine göre şekillenerek; bölgeye özgü malzeme, mekan kurgusu, konumlanma ve yapım tekniği gibi mimari karakterler olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Geleneksel konutlar dönemin sosyal, kültürel, ekonomik, teknoloji ve yapım teknikleri gibi birçok alanda bizlere veriler sunan önemli kültürel değerlerdir. Malatya, geleneksel konut ve doku bakımından zengin bir kültürel mirasa sahiptir. Fakat günümüzün değişen sosyo-kültürel ortam, ihtiyaçlar, yaşam tarzı, rant, hızlı kentleşme gibi birçok nedenden dolayı; Malatya, özellikle geleneksel dokusunu hızla kaybetmektedir. Bu bağlamda geleneksel konutları ve dokusunun büyük bir bölümünü halen özgün bir şekilde korumuş olan Yeşilyurt ilçesinin Yakınca Mahallesinde ki geleneksel konutlar üzerinde çalışma yapılmıştır. Çalışmanın yöntemi olarak literatür taraması yapılmış, çalışma alanı olarak belirlenen bölgedeki geleneksel konutların mekânsal rölöveleri alınmıştır. Geleneksel konutların iç mekan, cephe; taka, niş, dolap, ocak, sedir gibi mimari öğelerin detaylı görselleri çekilmiştir. Çalışmanın amacı; yoğun bir geleneksel dokuya sahip konutlarının plan, mekan özellikleri, cephe özellikleri, malzeme ve yapım teknikleri gibi mimari özelliklerini inceleyerek; yapılar hakkında detaylı irdelemeler yapılması amaçlanmıştır. Bu kapsamda Malatya Yakınca bölgesi özelinde geleneksel konutların önemine vurgu yapılarak, gelecek nesiller için bir literatür altlığı oluşturması ve geleneksel konutların daha iyi korunarak farkındalığın artırılması düşünülmüştür.
Anatolia and Malta have been preferred as settlements by many civilizations throughout history due to their historic trade routes, geopolitical and topographic characteristics. In this context, Malta is very rich in cultural and natural heritage and has a variety of architectural heritage and textures. Traditional houses, which make up an important part of our cultural heritage, have come to the present day, influenced and shaped by socio-cultural and environmental factors in the areas in which they are built. The traditional Turkish house; the environmental and cultural environment of Anadolu, the cultural and architectural heritage that the Turks bring from Central Asia and the interaction of Islamic faith. Therefore, the traditional housing is formed according to the characteristics and diversity of the physical and cultural norms of the area where it is built, such as the climate, the topography, the cultural environment; it appears to us as architectural characters such as the area's own material, the fiction of the place, the location and the construction technique. Traditional houses are important cultural values that provide us with data in many areas such as the social, cultural, economic, technology and construction techniques of the time. Malta has a rich cultural heritage in terms of traditional housing and tissue. But today’s changing socio-cultural environment, needs, lifestyle, rent, rapid urbanization, for many reasons; Malta, especially, is rapidly losing its traditional fabric. In this context, a large part of its traditional houses and texts have still been originally preserved in the nearby neighborhood of the Greenland district, which has been worked on traditional houses. As the method of the study, the literature scan was done, the local roles of the traditional houses in the area determined as the work area were taken. The interior of the traditional houses, the front, the taka, the niche, the closet, the janar, the sedir, and other architectural elements have been drawn in detail. The objective of the study is to study the architectural characteristics of houses with intense traditional fabric, such as the design, spatial characteristics, front characteristics, materials and construction techniques; to make detailed examinations of the structures. In this context, the emphasis on the importance of traditional housing in the particular region of Malatya nearby has been considered to create a literary underground for future generations and to increase awareness by better preserving traditional housing.
