Abstract:

The concept of Geopark's Geography Course Teaching Program (CDÖP) and the method of study of this work is carried out with a document review of the research methods. The data obtained from the document review was analyzed using the visual analysis method. In this scope, the CDÖP was studied by units at all levels of class. Then each class will be discussed in detail on the basis of the units examined. After the study of the teaching books, it was determined how the concept of geopark was placed. The lists in class levels of the achievements that the concept of Jeopark can be used are given in table. The geographical skills that the gains belong to are added. It is explained with examples of how geoparks are used in the acquisition of geographical skills. The study found that the concept of jeopark was not included in the curriculum. Understanding the world, realizing the changes that happen around us, being able to live without harm to the world we live and without consuming the rights of future generations, the ability to analyze and synthesize facing events is an important part of the use of geopark in giving the student the ability to analyze and synthesize events. To ensure the use of geoparks in education and the recognition of these areas, geoparks should be added to the CDÖP. Such fields allow us to be aware of the changes and processes the world is experiencing, so geography lessons should be included in the geopark concept in the curriculum.
