Zaman yönetimi ve zamanı etkin kullanma kavramları, günümüzde bireyler için oldukça önemli kavramlar arasında yer almaktadır. Bu iki kavram, kişilerin sadece okul veya çalışma hayatı bakımından değil, aynı zamanda tüm yaşamları için çok önemlidir. Bireyler, genellikle zamanlarını etkin kullandığını ve şahsi zaman yönetimlerini iyi yaptığını düşünmektedir, ancak bu iki kavramı ideali ile gerçekleştirmek o kadar kolay bir iş değildir ve başarılmasında birçok faktör etkilidir. Özellikle üniversitelerde okuyan öğrencilerin çalışma hayatına atılmadan önce okul sıralarında zamanı etkin kullanmayı ve zaman yönetimini öğrenmek zorundadır. Çünkü okul sıralarında bu konuları alışkanlık haline getirmeleri, onların iş yaşamında daha başarılı olmalarını sağlar. Bu kapsamda yapılan çalışmanın amacı, Atatürk Üniversitesinde okuyan öğrencilerinin genel olarak zaman kullanımından memnuniyet üzerinde etkili olan faktörleri belirlemektir. Araştırmada kullanılan veriler, anket yöntemine dayalı olarak elde edilmiştir. Geliştirilmiş anket geçerlilik testine tabi tutulmuş ve anketin Cronbach Alpha (α) katsayısı, 0,749 olarak hesaplanmıştır. Çalışmada kurulan matematiksel modelin kurulmasında ise sıralı lojistik regresyon modeli kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın sonunda Atatürk Üniversitesinde okuyan öğrencilerin genel olarak zaman kullanımından memnuniyet üzerinde etkili faktörlerin kişinin aylık geliri, yaşanılan yer temizliği, uyanıkken yatakta kalma zamanı, kütüphane, spor aktiviteleri, sosyal ortada internet, gece eğlenceleri, tatilde kültürel etkinlik, tatilde aile ile zaman geçirme, tatilde arkadaş ile zaman geçirme değişkenlerinin olduğu tespit edilmiştir.
The concepts of time management and the effective use of time are among the very important concepts for individuals today. These two concepts are very important not only in terms of the people’s school or work life, but also for all their lives. Individuals often think they use their time effectively and do their personal time management well, but realizing these two concepts with the ideal is not so easy and many factors are effective in their achievement. In particular, students studying at universities must learn to effectively use time and time management in school rows before they are put into work life. Because they make these topics a habit at school, making them more successful in their business life. The aim of this study is to identify the factors that affect the satisfaction of students studying at the University of Atatürk in general from time use. The data used in the research was obtained on the basis of the survey method. The advanced survey was subject to validity test and the survey’s Cronbach Alpha (α) ratio was calculated at 0.749. The mathematical model established in the study was used as a logistical regression model. At the end of the study, students studying at the University of Atatürk have found that the factors affecting the satisfaction of the time use in general are the monthly income of the person, the cleanliness of the place experienced, the time of staying in bed while waking up, the library, sports activities, social media internet, night entertainment, cultural activity on holiday, time spent with the family on holiday, time spent with the friend on holiday.
