Abstract:

Foça is a coastal tourist destination in Izmir, but is a district with potential in rural tourism. Kozbeyli village is a strong candidate in Foça for rural tourism with its geographical location and establishment, facility of transportation, historical structure, traditional village identity and natural geographical attractions. In recent years, the day-to-day visits to the village (natural walks, food-drinking, shopping) have increased, the pensions have begun to open. There was also a change in the area and in the area of the village. In this case, in the framework of a plan and project, the tourism management has become mandatory. One of the first steps is to get the views of both local people and visitors. For this purpose, a BAP project has been carried out. For this purpose, an interview and a verbal interview was made. Thus, the levels of awareness and thoughts about tourism have been learned. This article contains only verbal conversations. Interviews were evaluated by both manual and Nvivo 11 Pro quality data analysis. The results showed that Kozbeyli has a completely positive approach to rural tourism.
